Caboplast, in partnership with the Dona Ana Foundation, carried out an action of great social and environmental impact, called Reciclagem Solidária. The Reciclagem Solidária campaign involved around 30 of the Foundation's partner associations and schools in the city, with the aim of collecting plastic and, at the same time, supporting families in situations of social vulnerability.

Over the course of a month, the action had a significant response, with almost 4 tons of plastic waste being collected: bottle caps, water and juice bottles, plastic cups and bowls.

The great thing about this campaign was that, as well as helping to clean up the environment, all the waste collected was recycled. Caboplast offered 100 basic food baskets in return. These baskets were delivered to the Dona Ana Foundation and distributed to the families that are monitored by the Foundation, contributing directly to the well-being of those who need it most.

The initiative was also educational. Caboplast took advantage of the campaign to identify which types of plastic are actually recyclable, helping the company to improve its processes and contribute more effectively to sustainability. By carrying out this detailed analysis, Caboplast is able to improve its plastic waste management and reinforce its commitment to the environment.

This action reflects the importance of sustainable and supportive partnerships and shows that, when we work together, it is possible to make a significant difference. Caboplast and the Dona Ana Foundation remain committed to promoting recycling and supporting those who need it most. After all, a more sustainable future starts with small attitudes and large gestures of solidarity.
